How Can We Get Our Greedy Mitts on That Thing
We hereby issue a takedown notice for blackbook.tumblr.com since we, publishers of BlackBook, trademarked the name a long time ago. Give us that thing!
No, really, we’re not doing any such thing of course. We’ve been using bbook.tumblr.com for ages and that seems to work fine. Better than fine even. But since blackbook.tumblr.com seems to have been abandoned, other than a picture of … some people? … in a place? … is there, perhaps, room for an expiration date on a dead blog? I’d be happy to even offer to pay some nominal bit of cash for the name, which is really a piece of lunacy but also would be fair, right? I’d even make that offer via an email address or contact form for whoever started blackbook.tumblr.com, but I can’t because there’s nothing of the sort on the blog, because it is a DEAD BLOG and we should be able to claim it just like you can legally do with any corpse. Ask a lawyer.
Given all the bad press recently about people losing their tumblr blog names to evil corporations, has there been a transaction like this yet? Maybe it can just be auctioned off after a certain date? Who do I have to shake down? I saw Topherchris at Old Town Bar last week, and I know what he ordered to drink. I will keep this information secret if blackbook.tumblr.com is promptly transferred to our control. No funny stuff.
