Copyedit job
One of my ol’ employers — a small press that does outdoors guidebooks among other things — is starting a new series of guides that focus on “peaceful” places. The first is about New York CIty and they need someone local to copyedit the manuscript. Haven’t seen it myself but I’d guess it’s about 150 pages of text. The job pays, but we’re talking small-press book industry rates, not NYC, so don’t expect butter in your rum and cola. Pro copyediting experience mandatory, book experience helpful.
