REVIEWS OF MY SON’S TOYS: Caterpillar Inchwormipede
Press down on hinged spine and it violently contracts, powering anterior axle and propelling forward on wheels filled with rattly bits. The antagonist in eternal rounds of “Caterpillar Defense,” where baby sits up and attempts to block repeated leg-and-feet assaults from Inchwormipede launched by parents or bystanders. Successful defense means Inchwormipede is rendered prone with flailing counterattacks; unsuccessful defense means it penetrates past feet or legs into groinal/diaper area, or bypasses baby entirely and rolls off under a table, which requires immediate hunter-killer pursuit by newly mobile infant.
Bite it? On the vulnerable antennae.
